A six-month vacation, a multimillion-dollar contract settlement and the prospect of a new, nationally syndicated gig. Does that qualify as penance for acid-tongued Don Imus, fired last spring amid a national furor sparked by his racist on-air remark?

- It has occurred to me, but what can be done about last wishes of a man who clearly was not exercising the best judgment for the past 15 years or so? Especially when he crafts a will with them, and has a stable of mad-dog attorneys to enforce the tenets of the will?

- You call the Lord a myth like the Easter Bunny, but you accuse me of arrogant pride? The devil is always trying to shut believers up to hide the truth and the light. What you say does not surprise me one bit. You might be more comfortable in that closet, because of the darkness and all.

- It probably worked out for the best. Through Katherine Jackson's guardianship and the nanny's involvement, the children will probably have approximately the same amount of staiblity and continuity they had at home when Jackson was alive.

- All of her plots and schemes will come to nothing. She will never escape the consequences for not living up to her duty to protect her babies. If a judge or jury lets her off, something else will happen to her so bad she'll wish she'd gotten the chance to go to jail for what she did.

- This is not about fear; this is about knowledge. And if you don't count yourself as among the faithful, I don't see how your claim to know what they do and don't do to have any credibility. Jesus Christ said it best. Christ and Belial cannot walk together. They have nothing in common.

- Some women are just that weak for a man, any man. Any nasty, stinking violent predator will do. As long as they don't have to sleep alone. Horrors. They must think being without a man is the worst thing in life. Women used to be the keepers of the moral standard. Rarely do you see that anymore.

- Well, that's the grift...lie through your teeth, say you're "new in town" out of work, your dog died, you go nowhere to go, some hard luck story, etc.
